Here's one question that needn't have been asked but was asked last Friday by Carol Daniel of KMOX (1120 AM) of Tommy Chong, of Up in Smoke fame: "Do you play golf?" The answer was no.... If those "sports authority" folks checking out the baseball stadium crypto-crisis are serious about trolling for a pro-basketball team, perhaps they should check out Houston. The Rockets are having a tussle with Space City officials about a new venue and might be seduced by the cushy trappings of Kiel Center. Think of it: a sports town with Mark McGwire and Charles Barkley.
