Of all the stately residences on television, the towering mansion of The Addams Family is one of the most famed, ranking somewhere between Dallas’ Southfork Ranch and that palatial manse on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Now those that wish to enter the macabre realm of Gomez and Morticia can do so at the Addams Family Halloween Affair, a murder-mystery dinner that takes place at the Bissell Mansion Dinner Theatre (4426 Randall Place). As a guest, you’ll be treated to a four-course dinner (don’t worry – Cousin Itt will be wearing a hair net), and as an amateur sleuth, you’ll have to help solve the mystery of the Addams’ neighbor Norman. The Bissell Mansion hosts this creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky event every Thursday in October (October 4, 11, 18 and 25). Tickets for the evening are $43.95; for more information, call 314-533-9830.
Thursdays. Starts: Oct. 4. Continues through Oct. 25, 2007
