What becomes a gossip columnist most?
By Michael Musto
It is during this time of year that Ms. Day's thoughts turn not to Thanksgiving, but to her birthday. Oh, how she adores celebrating! She loves the dinners and the presents and the sweets — seriously, what's a birthday without cake? And cookies? And chocolate martinis? Which brings us to the matter at hand: From 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Ms. Day will be commemorating everything from the date of her birth to the fact that the sun rises at Bissinger's: A Chocolate Experience (32 Maryland Plaza; 314-367-7750 or www.experiencebissingers.com). Why? Because during these two special hours on those days, the shop offers a complimentary chocolate tasting with any drink as part of its "Choc-tails" Happy Hour. Order a Bissinger's Chocolatini and get chocolate. Order a glass of wine and get chocolate. Order another glass of wine and get chocolate. This'll be the best birthday ever! Plus, the Experience has added a couple of new items to its menu, including a pumpkin crème brûlée — that'll work for a birthday cake, right? Sweet!
