Frogs don't have to brush their teeth (yes, many varieties have 'em); your child, however, should take care of that fine set of chompers. Despite this obvious oral-hygiene difference between your kid and the hopping amphibians, the Saint Louis Zoo in Forest Park (314-781-0900 or www.stlzoo.org) incorporates both species during the Delta Dental Winter Zoo events. Each Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. January 13 through February 3, this, the Year of the Frog (as determined by Amphibian Ark, a group seeking to raise awareness about the importance of amphibian conservation), is lauded with family-friendly activities, including the Happy Hoppers game and the Slimy Singers frog-calling station. Plus, kids can get lessons in human dental health from the Tooth Wizard and P.A.N.D.A. at 12:30 and 2 p.m. Admission to the indoor fun is free.
Sundays. Starts: Jan. 13. Continues through Feb. 3, 2008
