Even though Saint Louis University wouldn't let Una, a women's group at the school, stage A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer: Writings to Stop Violence Against Women and Girls on campus, the university officials couldn't keep Una down. The show must go on, and the student-run production will share its pro-lady message at 8 p.m. at the Bluebird (2706 Olive Street). For just $10 you can check out A Memory, which is a collection of works by well-known writers that was edited by The Vagina Monologues' author Eve Ensler, and by attending you'll be helping to get money over to Karen House and the Women's Safe House, both local shelters for women. Tickets and more information are available through MetroTix (314-534-1111 or www.metrotix.com).
