Conor McPherson's The Good Thief is a one-man play about an Irish thug whose latest scheme has gone pear-shaped, setting him on the run. Oh, and there's some murder and kidnapping trouble in there as well. What better place for this man to unburden himself of his troubled past than at a nice bar? Joe Hanrahan stars as The Good Thief at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday (March 26 through April 10) at Dressel's Pub (419 North Euclid Avenue; 314-487-5305 or www.midnightcompany.com). Tickets are $10 to $15. You, um, may want a stiff belt or two before it's all over. Just saying.
Wednesdays, Thursdays. Starts: March 26. Continues through April 10, 2008
