Van Halen
8 p.m. Saturday, April 26. Scottrade Center, 1401 Clark Avenue

The name Van Halen is synonymous with rock & roll dramatics. After all, the band has always given its fans many topics to discuss over a cold beer and a copy of Diver Down: David Lee Roth vs. Van Hagar? Seasoned bassist Michael Anthony vs. potential child prodigy Wolfgang? Eddie Van Halen finger tapping vs. Eddie Van Halen playing guitar with an electric screwdriver? Unfortunately, Van Halen fans in the St. Louis metropolitan area are currently more concerned with the group's attendance record than their career-spanning antics, since the band has already canceled on us twice. So let's hold our heads and Budweisers high and hope the 22,000 ticket holders will be greeted at the Scottrade Center with 100,000 watts of "Eruption" rather than instructions to get ticket refunds at the location of original sale.
